Overview

A calm dashboard for exploring the tone of your English diary. The original Python application uses Streamlit, NLTK and Plotly; this published browser edition runs English VADER sentiment analysis directly on your device.

Using the app

Select New entry to write, or load fictional sample entries to explore the dashboard. Browser entries are stored locally and are not synchronized with the Python application's files. Keep a JSON backup before clearing browser data or switching devices.

Text tone may differ from your feelings. The JavaScript VADER port can produce slightly different scores from the Python edition.
