What changed
- Camera reading, motion detection and preview conversion run in a background thread.
- Uniform brightness changes are filtered before detecting motion.
- Brief fluctuations are filtered; continuous motion is counted at most every 30 seconds.
- Manual snapshots and motion events are saved as JPEG files in a background queue.
- Camera failures are reported, and the device is released when monitoring stops.
Start monitoring
Open the downloaded application and click Start camera. Start with sensitivity 40, then adjust it while moving in front of your webcam.

Local captures: manual snapshots and motion events are saved as JPEG images on your computer. The Windows download uses %LOCALAPPDATA%\MotionStudio\captures. Email alerts remain disconnected.
